Two years after Nets was fully integrated with Nexi Group under one common operating model the time has come to simply the organisation and further empower the regional organization to best ensure local cross-business collaboration, still levering the benefits of scale of being a leading European player.

To ensure that we deliver the most value to our customers we will further enhance our commercial self-governance in the region and simplify our organisation to also cater for local collaboration across all areas of our business," says Lars Erik Tellmann, Chief Regional Officer for Nexi Group in Nordics.
As part of the change Nexi will combine the two business areas supporting merchants in-store and online. Similarly, the go to market of the issuing solutions business serving financial institutions will move closer to the regional organisation under the leadership of Lars Erik Tellmann.
Change of top management in Issuing Solutions
In conjunction with this there will also be a change to the top management of Issuing Solutions in Nexi as Torsten Hagen Jørgensen has decided to step down and leave the company.
“After more than five years with the company, firstly in Nets and since Nexi, it has been an exciting journey developing the company from being a regional player in Nordics to becoming part of a pan-European industry leader. During this time, we have managed to gain the benefit of our scale and expand our issuing business to more countries, and I think this is a good time for me to pass on the baton to Christian Segersven, who I am confident will continue the journey of developing our business and delivering value to our customers," says Torsten Hagen Jørgensen, Head of Issuing Solutions in Nexi Group.
Christian Segersven, current Chief Commercial Officer for the Issuing Solutions, will become Chief Business Officer for Issuing Solutions in Nexi. He brings more than a decade of experience from the global payments and banking industry working in companies such as Tietoevry and before that IBM. In addition to heading the Sales for Issuing Solutions in Nordics, Christian will be sharing the group responsibility with Andrea Mencarini to further develop our strategy, products and platforms, global value propositions, operation, and delivery providing customers with best of breed solutions. Christian will, as Andrea, be included in the Executive Committee in Nexi Group
