Teller and Kortaccept becomes Nets

Nets Group simplify the brand and legal structure and from December 13 the subsidiaries Teller and Kortaccept becomes Nets.

The change in the legal structure implies that all Teller and Kortaccept companies in the Nordics will be merged into Nets Denmark A/S. And from December 13 these companies will be branded Nets and will henceforth communicate under the Nets brand.

"We want to create a more simple and unified company structure with less separate brands. We are pleased that we can now fully include Teller and Kortaccept into the Nets family that support our ambition to provide one-stop shop services for merchants, which also includes card acquiring. Besides this, it helps streamlining operations and simplifies processes within the Group", says Asger Hattel, Executive Vice President, Merchant Services in Nets.

Teller has been part of Nets since Nets was established in 2010 following the merger of PBS and Nordito (holding company of BBS and Teller) and in 2015 Nets acquired Kortaccept. Both of the card acquiring companies Teller and Kortaccept have existed as separate brands and subsidiaries within Nets Group.

The change in the brand and legal structure imply no practical changes for neither customers or staff, besides the actual name change.

As of 1. January 2018, the Finnish companies Nets Oy and Nets Finland Oy will also be merged into Nets Denmark A/S.
