Both services are available, and this developer site will cater to both. The underlying service, functions, and features will be available through either interface.
Unlike XML-based legacy API, which had a downloadable client API, the Rest API will be simpler to interact with as it relies on an OpenAPI specification.
The Rest API supports the Get Signature Data and Verify Signature Data functions. Eventually, all functions currently supported in an XML-based solution will be added to the Rest API.
