ID-Rights APIs

​​​Signing APIs Format​

The ID-Rights service is reachable using 2 different communication protocols:

• ID-Rights – the legacy interface built on top of XMLDSIG over HTTP mentioned at Web Service Functions

• ID-Rights Rest – the newer REST API based on OpenAPI​​

​Both services are available, and this developer site will cater to both. The underlying service, functions, and features will be available through either interface.

Unlike XML-based legacy API, which had a downloadable client API, the Rest API will be simpler to interact with as it relies on an OpenAPI specification. 

The Rest API supports the Get Signature Data and Verify Signature Data functions. Eventually, all functions currently supported in an XML-based solution will be added to the Rest API.

A merchant identifier (MID) and a secret code are required to integrate with ID-Rights Rest API. The identifier and the code can be received by using the Contact us​ form  to Nets support.
To receive a dedicated setup, you need to be an ID-Rights customer. To become a customer, contact our sales department​. ​
